I've gotten the VCSA working, I've just left it at the RTM version and luckily enough it's working with ESXi 6.5U1 and I'm relaxed now.
What I was wondering about though is that I cannot get copy and paste to work between my computer and a VM hosted on ESXi. Right now, I'm setting up a base image for Windows Server 2012 R2 and I'm booted into Audit Mode and whilst I do this I often maintain a little log of the changes I made and some of these changes involve chunks of code from PowerShell and unfortunately I can't copy and paste text between my computer and the VM.
I know I could use Remote Desktop but that is unable to be used whilst Windows is loaded in Audit Mode or build the base image in Workstation and then export it to ESXi as an OVA but I'd like to think copy and paste between a remote client and a VM on ESXi should be possible.
Am I missing something, like a setting that needs to be enabled or do I need to use a different VMware client in order to do this?
